Typical questions are: Could you tell me if your inks are vegan (containing no animal product)? I see they contain glycerin but is that plant or animal based? Hi, my name is …. and I am from Germany. For about 2 1/2 years I live the vegan lifestyle. That means, that I don’t consume or use any kind of animal products (e.g. meat, dairy products, eggs, wool, fur, leather,…). This abandonment includes even substances which are not identifiable at first view or animal experiments. Now, I want to get inked for the second time and I asked my tattoo artist which color he uses and if the color is vegan. He couldn’t answer my question but tells me the name of the color he works with.

So here are my questions to you:

1.Of which ingredients consists your colors?

2.Do you use any kind of animal products while producing the tattoo ink?

3.Where does the glycerin comes from? Does it come from animals or is it of vegetable origin?

4.Do you order animal experiments for your colors?

There are no animal products or animal by products in the I Max Tattoo Inks or in the I Max micropigmentation PMU pigments. The inks may contain a bit of glycerin of non animal origin, the glycerin is USP; KOSHER; vegetable base. IMax Inks/pigments conforms to the EU Resolution ResAP(2008)1 on tattoo inks. Ingredients are listed on the product label that can be found on each bottle.
